Pilgrimage as a Source of Inspiration
with
Brigitte Martin-Powell

For a long time I had had this urge to start walking straight ahead of me into the unknown, until 5 years ago, in a life changing Water Rebirthing Breathwork session, I got that a part of me still needed to incarnate and that I would achieve it while undertaking the Via Francigena pilgrimage.

Since then, I have indeed walked from my home in Devon to Rome, via Canterbury, i.e. in total 3000 km (1825 M) over 153 days (ca 5 months) spread over the last 5 years.
In my presentation on the 16th of November, I would like to share this journey with you: the insights, the challenges, the incredible outcome, but also how, I believe, similar breakthroughs can be achieved by people who are not in a position to walk long distances or take as much time off to pursue their dream.

I am Brigitte Martin Powell; I am originally from the French speaking part of Switzerland but have now been living in the UK for 26 years. Until recently I was a Director and Trainer at the AIR School of Breathwork (AIR), the Breathwork training my colleague Doug and I created in 2008.I have been involved with the IBF since 2000, going through various positions on the task force, including being the IBF president from 2008 to 2012. I was then the Chair of the IBF_UN group at the time of applying and getting our ECOSOC status.I now call myself a Master Breathworker, Life Adventurer, Pilgrim and Artist.
